Cobi Apps Trade Calculators - Privacy Policy

This single policy applies to all Cobi Apps trade-calculator apps; they share the same offline, on-device data model.

Cobi Apps Trade Calculators is developed by Chris ("the developer"), a solo developer based in Italy. This policy explains what data the app handles. Short version: your data stays on your device. The app requires no account and sends none of your content to any server.

Data stored on your device only

The app stores the following locally on your device (never transmitted to us):

• Quotes, estimates, and saved jobs you create
• Your business profile (name and contact details you enter for quote/invoice PDFs)
• Optional photos you attach to a job (stored in app storage on your device)
• Preferences: measurement unit (metric/imperial), language, and app usage flags

You can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling. The optional backup/export feature writes a file to a location you choose; sharing it is entirely under your control.

Data we collect

None. The app has no accounts, no analytics SDK operated by us, and no server of ours that receives your content. The app fetches a small remote configuration file (feature flags) from GitHub at launch; this request does not include personal data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app may display ads served by Google AdMob. When ads are active, Google may process device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and usage data to serve and measure ads, as an independent controller. See how Google uses data and Google's Privacy Policy. Where required (EEA/UK), you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you may choose non-personalised ads. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store (Google Play / Apple App Store). We never see your payment details.

Permissions

• Internet - fetch the remote feature-flag config and, when enabled, serve ads
• Photos/media (optional, only if you attach a photo) - photos never leave your device except inside a PDF or backup file you create and share yourself

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or port - your data lives on your device under your control. For data processed by Google (advertising), exercise your rights via Google's My Ad Center. EU/UK users: the legal basis for ad serving is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via the in-app consent form. California users: we do not sell or share personal information.

Children

The app is a professional/utility tool not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

Updates to this policy will be posted at this URL with a new date.
